Chai Spiced Toast With Apple Butter + Ricotta

Mmm, chai...the spice blend that could fuel the entire winter season. We're sharing a recipe from our gals at Darling that is just too good (and easy) to pass up, merging two of our favorite obsessions, chai spice and our beloved layered toast - hold the avocado, add a creamy ricotta. You'll crave this for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert... While it may be the spice of the season, it can get pretty repetitive when it's just on repeat in a mug. Amy Rothstein of Brooklyn-based Dona Chai (a current favorite around the office for its subtle, not-too-sweet flavor) put together this complete morning-to-night menu using chai in some rather inventive ways.
