This fudge is inspired by my friend, Alix, with whom I had the privilege of staying for a few nights in Berlin. Her morning routine always involved roasted almond butter paired with gooey Medjool dates and a few pieces of extra dark chocolate, as well as a creamy bowl of overnight chia pudding. Everyday I looked forward to our breakfast, which she generously shared with me. The date-chocolate-almond butter combo is one I cherish to this day, and since my stay I’ve fallen in love with 99% dark chocolate.
