The 5 Most Beautiful Crudités At Our Fave L.A. Haunts

Our summer social calendar revolves around great hikes, rose-fueled happy hours and a mission to check out every pretty restaurant in town. With so many exciting new spots on the scene, and stunning seasonal produce at peak perfection, we can't help but want to indulge!

All that edible exploration can take its toll, but don't sacrifice a night out. Instead, we're keeping things in balance with beautiful raw veggie dishes that feel more like a treat than a trade-off! Chefs all around L.A. are upping their veg game with gourmet spins on classic crudité plates -- and we're all for the fresh and foodie-approved creations...

Tallula Crudites

Tallula’s|The newest Santa Monica spot from the Rustic Canyon Family of restaurants is just steps away from the beach. Wander over after a day on the sand to try chef Mario Alberto’s Sikil P’ak. This traditional Mayan pumpkin seed dip is made with smoked tomato, toasted sunflower seeds, garlic and chipotle. It's served with fresh and colorful raw veggies like carrots with their tops on, purple and pink radishes, snap peas and more.

Esther's Crudites

Esters Wine Shop + Bar | Pair their market crudités served over a bed of hummus, garlic yogurt, dill pollen and a slightly runny soft-boiled egg with a crisp glass of white wine — it’s all about “retox, detox.”

Union Crudites

UNION| James Beard-nominated chef Bruce Kalman features a Turkish roasted pepper dip with Sardinian flatbread, carrots, pickled red beets and walnuts.

Crossroads Crudites

Crossroads|Of course chef Tal Ronnen, recognized for his imaginative take on plant-based fare, would have a cool crudité plate. His Mediterranean-influenced black pepper Parmesan cheese crudité consists of a dairy-free cheese and crisp fresh veggies.

Hudson House Crudites

Hudson House|Can’t decide between avocado or chickpeas? Try both! From Top Chef season 14 winner, Brooke Williamson, this South Bay hot spot offers avocado hummus, accompanied by a seasonal rotating selection of heirloom vegetables.
