We love our recipes easy and we love them quick, but when Sarah Ashley Schiear shared this dessert recipe from her recent fashion-forward Friendsgiving, we recognized this recipe as down right naughty. Enjoy this food-gasmic fall dessert recipe, then see the rest of the dinner party spread here. After the last course of our Friendsgiving with blogger Danielle Bernstein, we invited everyone into the kitchen where we presented a platter of roasted apples fresh from the oven. Danielle poured salted caramel over the apples, and Sarah followed up with vanilla ice cream and a brown butter-almond crumble topping. Everyone grabbed a fork and dug in! We came up with a healthier version of our dessert recipe exclusively for The Chalkboard Mag. It still feels naughty... but it’s not! Warm, baked apples fresh from the oven are topped with a maple-almond sauce you’ve got to taste to believe, vanilla frozen yogurt, and crunchy toasted almonds. Perfect for fall dinners, especially Thanksgiving...
