Orange Juice Is Boring: Try A Blood Orange + Kumquat Mimosa Instead

Orange juice is boring. This year, we're spiking our champagne with citrus of a different variety. Pressed Juicery's brand new, Blood Orange Kumquat juice is gorgeous, interesting and pretty darn healthy -- basically, the ideal Valentine.

Blood oranges — with all their anthocyanins, folic acid, vitamin C, polyphenols and carotenoid molecules — are associated with improved cardiovascular health while also fighting free radicals and inflammation. They're lower in sugar than navel oranges, while supporting improvements for a range of metabolic issues. And did we mention they're gorgeous? Kumquats, bursting with vitamin C and A, are packed into an adorable -- and edible! -- omega-3, fiber-rich peel.

We're obsessed with both of these citrus fruits, but usually at a loss for what to do with them. This festive cocktails (and a mocktail too!) put them to good use and help to amp-up the health benefits of our usual brunch fave.

Here's how to make the blood orange kumquat mimosa with a hint of turmeric, plus a probiotic-rich mocktail for those of you who'd rather go champagne free!
