Recipe of the Year? The Banana Bread Smoothie

Apparently, when more of us spend more time in, we bake. All hail, 2020's food du jour: banana bread. It's comforting, easy and can be made quite healthfully (try this delish version). Celeb nutritionist Kelly LeVeque is paying homage to this year's ultimate comfort food and, well, we'll let the recipe speak for itself.

Smoothies are simply one of the most functional foods out there -- don't let yourself get bored with the same recipes, try something new when the seasons change. This one has Fall 2020 written all over it....

A note from Kelly: For anyone who loves a slice of warm banana bread, but is searching for a healthy alternative, this is it! The nuttiness of this smoothie compliments the banana making it perfect for breakfast, bridge snack or even a healthy dessert.
