It's been more than a decade since SoulCycle first enlisted the whole nation to sweat in the dark. On a bike.
This fall, the stylish fitness brand launched their new project, SoulAnnex, a first of its kind space for off-the-bike classes. There's only one location of the fitness "incubator" so far -- lucky New Yorkers can find the space in NYC’s Flatiron neighborhood -- but it may not be long before the ultra-modern concept makes its way out west.
The SoulAnnex concept expands beyond just one type of workout. The studio schedule includes a 360-approach to training offering three categories of classes: move, define and align. Each class is designed with the brand's emotionally-uplifting style in mind.
So far, the fitness incubator's most popular classes include the body and free weight strength building class, EMBODY with Emily T, and Le Stretch with Charlee, a dynamic mat class to help improve flexibility, releasing tension and calming the mind.
Get a sneak peak inside the very first SoulAnnex studio above. What do you think? Would you extend your SoulCycle obsession off the bike and into a full range of classes?
